Well, you see, when people try to start an internet business based on some info they read in a book or manual, that is exactly what they are doing. They think that armed with a bit of information from a so called “guru”, they can start a business on the internet and compete with millions of other websites. Does that make sense to you? Well, that is exactly what most people are doing each and every day. And that is exactly why almost all of them fail miserably.

There are basically two ways that you can learn the information you need to become successful on the internet.

Option One
, is for you to spend the next two or three years (full time) or four to six years (part-time) learning what you need to know to compete with the millions of other websites on the internet.

• What shopping cart, autoresponder system, affiliate tracking, ad tracking programs you need in place for optimum results and least investment. They all say that they are the best. How will you know which is truly the best?

Learn how to discover your true niche market and target market. If you don’t know your exact niche and all the details of your target market, how can you present your products or services in a way that your market can identify with? This is about building the right foundation for your business. It is a crucial step. This is where most people fail miserably. Where can you find information on picking a true viable “niche” market? Hint: I haven’t found a “reliable” source of information on this subject yet! But, through experience, I can show you how.
